We are here to provide you with support and advice, and answer
any queries you may have regarding Sports Leaders UK and our awards
and qualifications. If you are unsure of what Sports Leaders UK can
do for you, please give one of us a ring and we'll be happy to have
a chat, answer your questions and tell you whether we think our
awards and qualifications are for you.
To run the Sports Leaders UK awards and qualifications you
will need to have certain qualifications already e.g. to run the
Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership you need a Teaching
Qualification or a Youth Work Qualification, or relevant
experience. If you are not sure please give us a ring to discuss
your requirements and experience.
Information can be provided covering the following
areas:
- Getting started - the first steps to applying and running
a course.
- Accessing courses and course participation.
- Local tutors - who can provide support and encouragement
to run courses.
- The variability and suitability of courses on offer.
- Progression routes - from the Young Leader Award to
the Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership.
- Sharing good practice - networking with other tutors and
sharing information.
- Availability of Community Sports Volunteers to assist with your
event.
- Opportunities for your candidates to further develop their
skills.
