Level 2 Award in Community Sports Volunteering
The Level 2 Award in Community Sports Volunteering is a
nationally recognised qualification for learners who are aged 16
years and over and who wish to develop their volunteering
skills.
The aim of the qualification is to prepare learners for
volunteering, giving the learner the skills required to help within
a volunteer workforce. The learner is assessed on their
understanding and their ability to carry out a volunteer role
within a sporting and/or recreational activity.
The learner does not have to have sporting aptitude to complete
this qualification as it will be their volunteering skills, not
their sporting ability, that will be assessed.
