Equivalents & Exemptions
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) provides the
opportunity for learners to use previous achievements towards new
qualifications using Equivalents and Exemptions. These are
certificated units or courses that have been formally recognised by
Sports Leaders UK as sharing Learning Outcomes and Assessment
Criteria with a Sports Leaders UK unit or units, meaning that the
learner will not have to duplicate this learning and
assessment.
The table below illustrates the
units/qualifications that Sports Leaders
UK currently recognises as Equivalent learning:
(The information on the left
of the table is the formally recognised Equivalent learning. The
information on the right of the table refers to the Sports Leaders
UK unit or units for which the learning and assessment does not
need to be repeated.)
