Level 3 Award in Day Walk Leadership (DWL)

Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership (BEL)

This full day training will cover the general content of the Level 3 Award in Day Walk Leadership and the Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership, and engage delegates in both theory based and practical activities. The day will also cover aspects of quality assurance and assessment. During the day there will be opportunities for questions to be answered and any queries about the qualification to be addressed. Please note that anybody can attend the training BUT to be the main course Tutor/Assessor, the person needs to be a summer qualified Mountain Leader or Walking Group Leader.

Ten Tutor Training days are available for the Level 3 Award in Day Walk Leadership and the Level 3 Certificate in Basic Expedition Leadership. These are suitable for both brand new tutors, and those who have had experience of Sports Leaders UK Tutor Training and/or delivering our other qualifications in the past.
