Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership (CSL2)
There are 40 training
dates throughout the UK during the 2011/12 academic year.
Each of these days will host workshops covering
the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership, the
Level 2 Award in Sports Leadership and the
Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership.
These days will only be suitable for new tutors who have not
attended Sports Leaders UK Tutor Training in the past. Experienced
tutors that have previously been trained should attend the Refresher
Tutor Training.
The full Tutor Training day runs from 09:15 to 16:00, with
registration and refreshments available from 08:45.
Overview of Tutor Training Workshops
The workshops for each of the qualifications will give a full
insight into how the courses can be delivered, including
information on:
- Units, Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria
- Delivery ideas and activities
- Assessment procedures
- Quality Assurance and paperwork requirements
- How to use the resources available
There will also be two practical sessions, where tutors will
have the opportunity to learn how they can use practical methods of
delivery to their learners.
There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions on the day,
and information will be given as to how tutors are supported after
the training has finished.
